It's all a matter of synchronicity. It is said that if you sit regularly and quietly on the shore of Atlantic Ocean and listen to the sound of the waves, there comes a time when you're synchronized with the vibes of the ocean and are able to hear the sound of bells that still ring in the temples of the sunken city of Atlantis, in the depths of Atlantic Ocean.
Of course we don't believe in such concepts because we are living in this modern age of science and technology. We're 'practical' and 'realistic' people.
Truth is,we are bound to time, space, five senses, and the conscious mind. Logic tells us, anything that we don't see doesn't exist.
"A human being is part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self. In our delusion of being separate from the rest of the creation we take universe as total chaos, life as an accident and coincidences as random occurrences.
Is Life a coincidence?
Life is based on perfect balance and harmony. When we look at our universe, the planets revolving in their orbits around the sun, the coming and going of seasons, our ecosystem, the ebb and flow of tide in accordance with the rising and setting of the moon, the blooming of flowers, the formation of a living body, be it a unicellular organism, an insect, a bird, an animal or a human being, and the way all creation is interconnected and resonates with each other, the only thought that comes to mind is that the whole pattern of existence is a magnificent master plan designed by a powerful all-knowing genius force for a reason.
"Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of ships through the ocean, for the profit of mankind; in the rain which God sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth; here indeed are Signs for a people that are wise" (Quran 2:164)
"It is not permitted for the sun to catch up to the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day. Each just swims along in its own orbit" (36:40).

Those who are in touch with their inner self, their soul, see life as a miracle. They are the ones who don't see coincidences as accidents or random occurrences but as meaningful clues or messages from the universe.

Whenever I look at my family tree I'm awed to see all those generations of ancestors listed sequentially, dating back to a series of centuries. I find it a perfectly laid-out plan. I marvel at the fact that the Higher Power created all those hundreds of thousands of people - my ancestors to bring me to this planet; that HE planned to send me here when even time didn't exist. Those ancestors survived through wars, harsh weather, natural disasters, illnesses, famine, poverty and God knows what else because I was intended to be here.
That is how important I am for the Creator. That's how significant and crucial I am for the universe and for all the universes that exist beyond this universe. I am not an accident! I am not the result of an explosion! I am not a random coincidence!. I was and I am meant to be!. I am here for a purpose.
This goes for all of us.
Acknowledging the facts that our existence, the people who come in our life and the events that take place in our life are not coincidences; that each and everyone of us is here on this planet for a specific reason and that we are equally important for the Higher Power, makes life meaningful beyond imagination. I bet that if we realize and acknowledge these facts nobody would even think of committing suicide ever.

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met,

Are our experiences, random coincidences?

When I look back into my past I see how every good and bad experience and event led me to where I stand now. At that time I was not in a position to see the flawless connection between, what I took as insignificant happenings. Now with each and every passing moment I realize how everything was meant to happen to bring me to my present position.
As soon as we realize that coincidences are signals from the universe, we experience a 360º shift in our perspective of reality. From that moment onward we evolve consciously. Our intuition develops. The rate of occurrences of meaningful coincidences increase and we are guided toward our true destiny.

When we see coincidences as signals or cues or messages from the universe everything that has happened or happens to us starts making sense. The words 'joys" and 'sorrows" lose their meaning because we can see that what brings us grief may bring someone relief. In other words, we transcend from the micro-cosmic world to the macro-cosmic world.
BeliefNet.Com published an excerpt from one of the excellent books (The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire) written by my all-time favorite author Mr. Deepak Chopra.
A part of that excerpt says:
Most of us go through life a little afraid, a little nervous, a little excited. We are like children playing hide and seek, wanting to be found, yet hoping we won’t be, biting our nails with anticipation. We worry when opportunity approaches a little too closely, and hide deeper in the shadows when fear overcomes us. This is no way to go through life. People who understand the true nature of reality, those whom some traditions call enlightened, lose all sense of fear or concern. All worry disappears. Once you understand the way life really works—the flow of energy, information, and intelligence that directs every moment—then you begin to see the amazing potential in that moment. Mundane things just don’t bother you anymore. You become lighthearted and full of joy. You also begin to encounter more and more coincidences in your life.
When a coincidence arises, don’t ignore it. Ask yourself, What is the message here? What is the significance of this? You don’t need to go digging for the answers. Ask the question, and the answers will emerge. They may arrive as a sudden insight, a spontaneous creative experience, or they may be something very different. Perhaps you will meet a person who is somehow related to the coincidence that occurred. An encounter, a relationship, a chance meeting, a situation, a circumstance will immediately give you a clue to its meaning. “Oh, so that’s what it was all about!”
The key is to pay attention and inquire.
